A little late but whatever, here's a blog entry lol
May has been quite the whirlwind to put it lightly. Earlier this month I ended up with cellulitis on my right big toe and had to be put on antibiotics for it. The nail is ingrown due to stubbing it on the nail, but I believe the main fault lied with me picking at some dried skin and leaving it to fester instead of taking care of it afterwards.
It's healed now but since then I'm doing what I can to treat my toe a bit better by trimming it as often as a I can (both carefully and with specialized trimmers for toenails too) and weekly Epsom foot soaks for around half an hour. I've also gotten back into the habit of wearing sandals with socks too, as that was the doctor's recommendation while I was taking the antibiotics.
All in all as long as I don't touch the toe too much or do anything to cause anymore infections (and try to stub it LESS though that's unavoidable lol) I should be fine. It's a good motivator to start taking care of my feet better as I get older.
In other news, I decided to finally give StartAllBack a try, and to be honest I wish I had done so sooner. While customization is minimal, I'm able to replicate a near-perfect Windows 7 appearance with some tweaks to make the user experience much more bearable. I still have Windhawk running alongside it for more simpler tweaks that it doesn't cover and so far my PC is feeling a little more me-coded.
