Tax refund season has happened and I got my cut of it. Feburary has been... mostly quiet for the most part, not much has really happened up till yesterday lol
While I did splurge on some fun goodies, at most I did mostly buy some important things that I been needing, a new CD player is one of them. With the prices of e-bikes going up (along with everything else that's remotely electronic-ish) that will still be on hold, Steam Decks tend to go out of stock around this time too.
I mentioned in the last entry that I got myself a cassette player, well I learned it can record too. I bought myself a blank cassette (which goes for CHEAP at the record shop. $3 a pop like WOW that's cheaper compared to the prices offa Amazon!) and have started a little audio diary where I record my thoughts and feelings on things that happened that day.
Obviously I have barely gone through the entire reel on side A, but this thing holds 90 minutes of record time, so I'm gonna guess by the end of the year or so I'll have the things complete. Motivation pending.
Oh yeah, Valentine's Day was uneventful, most of what I did was buy a small box of chocolates on discount (worth it) and a commission from a friend who was doing a Valentine's Day sale (also worth it).
As for how I'm doing since last month, everything feels less muttled now, I'm still feeling some sort of exhaustion but notably not as severe. I think everything happening all at once month one into 2026 affected me a lot, but things have slowed down a little. Still a lot happening but at least it ain't overwhelming.
