Not a really big entry, this one's gonna be short and sweet.
It's been a month since I upgraded my PC, and so far everything's been running relatively smoothly. It survived Windows Updates and while it gets warm it hasn't gotten hot to the point of cooking itself to death. One thing I'll make sure to do is to open it up at least once in a while and give it a good dusting so the fans don't get clogged.
I do love this sleeper PC build, but there's no denying that I need a better case, mostly for better ventilation.
I been looking at some options, both classic and modern. There was a nice looking pink one I saw at the local shop recently, but it costs $299. Ough. My best option would be to buy an old junk PC, take out all the internals and replace it with the new internals. I kind of wanna aim for one with a small-ish grill on the front so I can possibly install an intake fan to let air in.
The other thing I wanna do is change the 2TB HDD out with a 2 or 4TB SSD. It's a Seagate Barracuda so I wanna keep it to that, though I will look at cheaper options for the same storage capacity.
